As Bifocal analyzes raw feedback and synthesizes insights, it also suggests solutions for any problems or issues identified during research. These Solutions can quickly be turned into new versions of a prototype built by Bifocal coding agents.

Generating Solutions from Project Level Insights

To generate a Solution from a Project Level Insight:
  1. Navigate to the **Insights **tab and click into the Insight you want to focus on
  2. Scroll down in the side panel and selec Generate Solution. This will generate a solution to address the insight (note: this might take 1-2 minutes to complete)
  3. View the Solution in the Insight side panel or on the Solutions tab.

Generating Solutions during Live Feedback Sessions

Bifocal will automatically generate solutions during a Live Feedback Session. To view,
  1. Navigate to the **Sessions **tab and click the **Admin View **for the session you want to focus on (or create a new Live Feedback Session)
  2. Wait for raw feedback to be added to the Live Feedback Session, either by voice recording or copying and pasting your own feedback.
  3. Insights will be automatically generated, and from there Solutions will automatically generated and visible on the Solutions tab.

Generating Prototypes from Solutions

Any proposed solution can instantly be used to generate a new version of a prototype. Each solution has a description, a set of proposed modifications, and design inspiration that Bifocal believes is relevant.

Generating Prototypes from Project level Solutions

If you want to focus on building new prototypes based on aggregate feedback from across all Sessions, generate Prototypes from Project level Solutions.
  1. Navigate to the Project>Solutions tab.
  2. Find the Solution you want to use and click into it, then scroll down and click the “Generate Prototype” button. A prototype with this solution will be built in 3-5 minutes minutes and can be accessed directly from the Solution detail view.

Generating Prototypes from Live Feedback Sessions

You can also generate prototypes during Live Feedback Sessions. This can be powerful because you and your participants can view and discuss them in real time. It can also be useful if there is specific feedback you want to focus on for ideation, like a specific VIP customer or a internal teammate. To do this, navigate to the Sessions tab and click on the Admin view link. Ensure that you have either added feedback by copying and pasting text, or have a live feedback session running. Insights and Solutions will generate automatically, and from there you can select the exact solutions you want to use to create prototypes within the Admin View. Building new prototypes can take 5-6 minutes. New prototypes will display on the Prototypes tab within the Session view.
