The Prototypes tab is a directory of all the imported or generated prototypes for your project. As you use Bifocal to collect feedback and explore solutions to improve your product concept, Bifocal coding agents will help you quickly build new versions of your prototype. The Prototypes tab keeps all of these organized and searchable for you to find.

Base Prototype

Your base prototype is the one that you originally imported when you created the Project. This will automatically be labelled as a Base when imported. Coding agents will always generate new versions starting with this Base.

Forks

Forks are the new versions of your prototype created by Bifocal coding agents. Forks are created when you decide to generate a new prototype based off a solution that you selected. You can generate these prototypes on the Projects>Solutions tab, or within Session Admin view. Read more about generating solutions here.
